Our mid-size community has two Walmarts. One is close to our home, so I decided to try their new online grocery service with pick up at my local store.
First I have to confess, I am not a Walmart fan. I won’t go into why but let’s just say it is not my favorite place to shop. My curiosity, along with a $10 off code was just too much to pass on though.
I placed my order on the Walmart website. There is an icon on the upper right side of the Walmart homepage that says “Grocery Pickup.” This particular page is exclusive for buying groceries (food and miscellaneous items).
You just type in whatever is on your grocery list in the search bar and options for that particular item pop up. You then select your choice adding it to your cart and then proceed to the next item on your grocery list. Just click on the heart icon on any product page to make it a “favorite.” Next time you can choose to shop directly from your Favorites page. (You just click on the word Favorites on the upper right part of the Walmart grocery homepage.)
At the end of your ordering process, you will have the choice to select to have your shopper make substitutions or not. You then pay for your purchase and choose a day and time for pickup.
During the day and hour you want, you just call the phone number given to you on your order confirmation and let them know you are on your way. Once you arrive in the designated area, you only wait. In just a few minutes your groceries are delivered to your car. All you have to do is open your trunk!
You have to try the new Walmart Online Grocery Service and have I got a deal for you! Head over here and place an order of at least $50 and receive $10 off your first order.
