Many high-SPF mineral sunscreens are now available in the marketplace. However, when buying sunscreen for the face, high SPF just isn’t enough. Texture and the lack of a residual white cast are incredibly important as well. If I am applying a high SPF sunscreen that protects me from potential skin cancer but look like Casper or an oil slick after applying it, my compliance in using it will decrease rather quickly.
Last year, bareMinerals introduced a sunscreen and primer in one. I purchased it and fell in love! Even though it initially appears white, once applied it has no color at all. It imparts a glow to my skin and is an excellent primer when I’m wearing my bareMinerals powder foundation.
Head over here and pick up a bottle, especially if like me, you wear a mineral powder foundation. I have to say though, on those days when sunscreen is all I get around to wearing, it still looks fantastic. It softens the look of my pores, just like an effective primer should. Give bareMinerals Prep Step Mineral Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 50 a try; I think you’ll love it!
