Happy New Year!
I think we can all imagine what it would take to get healthier or what we would need to do to put the breaks on spending money but combine those two goals and we’re apt to throw our hands up and give up before even starting. Getting healthy and saving money seems like an oxymoron because we all know how much a healthier lifestyle costs. Right?
I truly want to get healthier this year, and my husband and I both want to put the breaks on our spending. We have been rehabbing a small cottage that we want to retire in. Yes, like most homes, it’s a money pit!
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to share with you all, along with reminding myself, a few simple things I can do to make healthier choices that also reflect our goal to be much more intentional about spending less.
As a couple, my husband and I have been so convicted of not having more margin in our finances. We listened to an Andy Stanley video series toward the end of the year which refocused our hearts and minds on how we truly want to live the rest of our lives. If you have a few minutes, I highly recommend it.
What are some of your goals for 2018? Please share if you feel comfortable.
Have a great day!
