Martha Stewart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven

Martha Stewart Enameled Dutch OvenMany of us would love to own a Le Creuset enameled cast iron dutch oven. The problem is about $350 stands in our way.

I have found this great alternative from the Martha Stewart Collection at Macy’s. At the time of this writing, it has over 700 mostly 5-star reviews. That’s impressive. It’s available in 7 colors and retails for $179.99. If you watch for a sale on this great addition to your kitchen, you’ll be able to pick it up for a steal like I did. A couple of years ago, I paid around $50, not even kidding!

This enameled cast iron dutch oven is currently $59.99 during Macy’s Black Friday in July sale which continues until Sunday, 7/15. Purchase it, then print this form. Mail the rebate form in with your sales receipt and UPC code from the product packaging to receive a $20 rebate. That brings the total price down to $39.99!

Features include:

    • Modern design with a classic straight side shape and stainless steel lid handle
    • Condensation rings on lid underside condense and redistribute moisture
    • Dimensions: 268 x 122 mm
    • Non-reactive enameled interior does not need to be seasoned
    • Low to medium heat only
    • Use: gas, electric, glass stovetop and induction safe
    • Oven safe to 500ºF
    • Manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty
    • Hand wash

Yes, you do have to hand wash, the only negative to this pot, other than the weight. If you cook with cast iron frequently you should be somewhat used to that though. So, if you’ve been eyeing a Le Creuset but just couldn’t pull the trigger because of the price tag, I highly recommend this Martha Stewart version exclusive from Macy’s.

Bon Appetit!
