Sunscreen is an item that I place a high value on. Not only does it protect against skin cancer but it also, along with retinol, is a fantastic anti-ager. Sun damage wrecks havoc on our skin causing dark spots, wrinkles, and my personal favorite – sagging skin!
Back some time ago, I recommended a favorite sunscreen in this post. I loved and used it religiously. Bare Minerals discontinued it, so I had to go looking again.
My hunt led me to this incredible sunscreen.
Not only does Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Tinted Face Mineral Lotion, SPF 50 protect against burning, but it also lightly moisturizes. I have combination skin, and after using my serum I slather this on my face and neck, and I’m good to go for the day.
Because of having combination skin, most sunscreens become an oil slick on my T-zone by midday. Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen does not. It even seems to mattify. (I have heard some of the beauty bloggers on YouTube say that drier skin types may not do well with it.)
So, if you’re on the market for a great tinted sunscreen that you can use as a tinted moisturizer, and have combination skin (most common skin type) you will have to give Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Tinted Face Mineral Lotion, SPF 50 a try. I think you’ll be very pleased!
