Brandless was founded by entrepreneurs Tina Sharkey and Ido Leffler several years ago. I personally began shopping on the Brandless website this past fall.
A unique feature of Brandless and one you can’t help feeling good about is the fact that when you check out at Brandless, a meal is donated to someone facing hunger through their partnership with Feeding America.
What I also like about Brandless, is that you can purchase organic and for the most part healthy whole foods for far less than you could at a local retail store. Each item is either $3.00 each or 2/$3.00 or even 3/$3.00. (Nothing is over $3.00 though.)
Some of my favorite products are their organic roasted red pepper soup which is 2/$3.00, organic maple syrup, packaged nuts, salad toppers and also some of their beauty products such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I also love this dishwashing detergent, it smells so good!
If you shop at Trader Joe’s and love the value and quality of their products, I would say you will probably enjoy shopping at the Brandless website.
After a few orders, I purchased a B. More membership, which is a yearly free shipping pass. I love the fact that I don’t have to order items that I really don’t need to obtain free shipping. The fee is $36 a year. Another perk of the B. More membership is that each time you order two meals are donated through Feeding America. Shipping is $5 for every order if you are not a B. More member.
I’m always surprised how quickly my order arrives, usually in just a couple of days. Head over and give Brandless a try. You may end up, like me, loving their products and deeply appreciating their value.
